Why Item Upgrade Should Be Your Next Big Obsession

Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can increase the power of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements applied.

For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb function in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you reroll a purchased item, like armor, weapon, or ring. The item is swapped for a different one similar item with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. However, they don't retain the level of the original item and any resources wasted won't be compensated for.

Survivors may acquire reroll tokens through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in chests and crates or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of an item for example, increasing its damage.

Players can reroll their equipment into three categories three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power increases the damage that melee and weapons and spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces The reroll marker is left in the space until the next success result is repeated. This is a way to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they display an image and description of the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged for new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins.

This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This alters the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. They can also be purchased by players who have completed daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment players first need to find the item they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's level, and what it will become after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. When the requirements are satisfied, the user can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level a certain percentage. Depending on the item's rarity and rarity, the upgrade process could take between seconds and minutes.

The upgrade process is also risk-free and doesn't affect the item's durability. The system is an excellent choice for those who wish to gain an advantage in battle, but don't want to spend a lot of money. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded item to an entirely new piece of equipment.

The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for new players. However, there are numerous ways to acquire these stones, such as signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Additionally, players can cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that allows you to boost the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will gain an upgraded level. This process can continue until the item reaches its highest level.

Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, cannot be added to more than one item at a time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a particular number of items to be used and an initial amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place items to be upgraded. On the right, an image of the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when is a player has enough resources will begin the upgrade process.

Requirements

Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain attributes of weapons and armor they currently own. The requirements for upgrading an item differ depending on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium and the number of Upgrade Tokens.

The items can be upgraded by adding  item upgrade  components to weapons and equipment. This gives them additional effects or an increase in quality of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources within the game, including through crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.

Upgrades can boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and also adds an extra 20% chance to block. Additionally the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.

Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get a perfect roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.

When you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will display a pop-up window that shows the necessary requirements. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

Once you've met the required conditions for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will be updated to show how close you are to completing it. You can also check on the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
